will take on the Colorado School of Mines at the Homecoming Games on Friday, Feb. 22.

2007 Homecoming Week Highlights: Campus was buzzing with Metro State Spirit and a competitive energy shared by students, alumni, faculty, and staff alike. We can't wait for Homecoming 2008!
	HOMECOMING BASKETBALL GAMES Four wins in one week - outstanding! Women's Basketball: Metro State rallied from a nine-point second-half deficit and went on to defeat No. 19-ranked Regis, 76-67, in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's basketball game, Saturday evening at the Auraria Events Center. Men's Basketball: Metro State went on a 23-6 run over the last nine-plus minutes of the first half and went on to defeat Regis, 86-61, in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's basketball game, Saturday evening at the Auraria Events Center. 	"GET YOUR GAME ON" TEAM COMPETITION Team Standings: 1st Place: Tri-Sigma, 900 points 2nd Place: New Student Orientation, 800 points 3rd Place: Phi Sigma Sigma, 725 points Congratulations to all 10 teams who battled it out all week long! Way to go, Tri-Sigma, on pulling out a surprise win by dominating the final competitive event! Go to Team Competition Scoreboard>
	PENNY DRIVE The 4th Annual Penny Drive was no disappointment! A total of eight teams competed in a three week challenge to collect the most pennies (positive points). The sneaky teams dropped hundreds of silver coins and dollar bills (negative points) into competitors' buckets to maintain their lead. The end result? A grand total of $743.93 was raised and the winning group, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, won the honor of presenting a check for the total raised to the charity of their choice: Children's Miracle Network. Congratulations!
	OFFICE DECORATING Congratulations, Office Decorating Contest Winners! It's a Homecoming first: a three-way tie for first-place in the Office Decorating contest! Way to show your Metro State Spirit! Office of Academic Affairs Academic Advising Office School of Professional Studies Dean's Office
	SCAVENGER HUNT Teams competed to find the medallion, answer a riddle, and return with both to the President's Office...before any other team. Congratulations, daily winners!
