Leroy Chavez, director of Veteran Upward Bound, asks that the following items be brought to his office in the St. Francis Center by Thursday:

• Letter writing materials (envelopes, stationary, pens)

• Sunglasses
  
• Q-tips
  
• Hand sanitizing gel
  
• Batteries (AA and 9 volt)
  
• Kool Aid and Gatorade Drink Mix
  
• Ziploc bags (various sizes)
  
• Reading material (local newspapers, popular magazines, paperback books)
