| Art honors thesis show opens Thursday at Center for Visual Art |

The artwork of 21 of Metro's top graduating art students will be on display at the Metro State Center for Visual Art May 6-22. The "Fast Forward: Metro State BFA Honors Thesis" exhibition opens with a free Meet-the-Artists reception Thursday, 6-8 p.m. The student works presented in the show were selected through a jury process by the art faculty. The selected artists are: Lois Anderson, Katrina Boldry, Linda Bloom, Thomas Calhoun, Suchil Coffman-Guerra, Ryan Cramm, Shawn Garvin, Charlene Harlow, Katie Hoffman, Delanie Holton, Elizabeth D. Hunter, Jacob (Bode) Klein, Lori Mattina, Debra Kay Miller, Johanna Mueller, Stephen Plount, Marie Quinn, Kelly Sandoval, Lisa Schafer, Elaine Scheffler and Pamela Webb. The exhibit features artworks in two and three-dimensional media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, computer-generated art, communication design, photography and sculpture. Most of the pieces are for sale. The exhibit is sponsored by the Metro State Student Affairs Board and LOLA. The Center for Visual Art is located at 1734 Wazee Street.
