| Music at Metro's Spring Artist Series continues |

The Music Department's Spring Artist Series continues in April with performances by guitarist Alex Komodore and violinist Yumi Hwang at the King Center Concert Hall. Komodore, a Metro music professor, will appear in concert with flutist Rod Garnett on Saturday, April 3, at 7: 30 p.m. Komodore has performed at New York's Town Hall and the United Nations, and took first prize at the 1985 National Music Teachers Association competition. He has worked with the Colorado Ballet, Denver Chamber Orchestra and Central City Opera. Hwang will perform on Tuesday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. Hwang has appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra and has served as concertmaster of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. She was a founding member of the Felix Quartet and has participated in many distinguished series including the Linton Music Series and Taft Museum Artist Series. Tickets to the concerts are $10 general admission, $5 for students and seniors, and free for members of the Metro State community with ID. Contact the King Center Box Office at 303-556-2296. The Music at Metro program features workshops and concerts by acclaimed international and regional performers, Metro faculty members and students. The program blends a rich array of offerings, from classical to jazz to international rhythms.
