August 26 - Student Involvement Fair, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Flagpole

August 28 - "Inside the Ring with Mick Foley: How the real world is more fake than wrestling." 1 p.m., Tivoli Turnhalle
Former World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler "Cactus Jack" and author of three best-selling books talks about his career in wrestling and how it relates to the real world.

September 8 - Kadiadou Diallo
Mother of Amadou Diallo, the West African immigrant who was shot in a hail of bullets by New York City police officers in 1999.

September 16 and 17 - Fall Fest, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Flagpole

September 23 - Author and journalist Dick Reavis, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Tivoli 320
A senior reporter with the San Antonio Express-News, Reavis has reported extensively from Latin America during his 27 years in journalism. He will discuss the history of the Chicano movement, focusing on several political figures in the movement.

October 6 - "Five Years Since Matthew: A mother's perspective on hate crimes." 1 p.m., Tivoli Turnhalle
Judy Shepard speaks about hate crimes since the death of her son.

October 16 - Vanessa Aponte, 1 p.m., Tivoli 320
CU doctoral student and NASA astronaut hopeful Vanessa Aponte talks about growing up in Puerto Rico and being a minority woman in the science field.

October 27 - Max Brooks, "Lessons For Surviving a Zombie Attack: be prepared or be dead." 1 p.m., Tivoli Turnhalle
Son of Mel Brooks and "Saturday Night Live" writer gives advice on how to protect yourself from the scores of flesh-eating zombies on campus.

October 30 or 31 - Halloween Open House

November 6 - "Gamers vs. Blamers," video game violence debate. 1 p.m., Tivoli Turnhalle
Do video games lead to violence? Are they just for fun? Come join us for this thought-provoking debate.

November 13 - Dolores Huerta, United Farm Workers activist, 1 p.m., Tivoli Turnhalle

November 20 - RJ Reynolds heir Patrick Reynolds, "National Smokeout Day: The battle for a smoke-free America." 1 p.m., Tivoli Turnhalle
Grandson of RJ Reynolds and heir to the family business talks about the death of his father and brother to smoking and why he walked away.
