Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 3 for the 2005 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace Awards. The awards will be given out at the MLK Peace Breakfast on Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 from 8:30 to10:30 a.m. in the Tivoli Turnhalle.

Nominees should demonstrate advocacy, compassion and a commitment to peace, community activism and justice. Metro State students, faculty, administrators and staff as well as off-campus community individuals are eligible.

A nomination letter should accompany the nomination form. The nomination form can be downloaded and printed at:

All nominations should be sent to Alton Clark, Box 89, Office of Veterans Upward Bound, by the Dec. 3 deadline.
