Metro's Board of Trustees is set to meet this morning, Wednesday, May 4, in TIV 320. At 8 a.m. the board will have an informal session with students, after which the trustees will convene into executive session. The open-session portion of the meeting will begin at approximately 9:45 a.m.

Action items on the agenda include the Fiscal Year 2006 budget and student charges, awards of tenure, the contract for president-designee Stephen Jordan and the appointment of an acting president. Items for discussion and possible action include a proposal for creating two concentrations within the language and linguistics minor in the English Department and a proposal for a new minor in eating disorders.
