The Diversity Initiatives Committee invites proposals that involve any of the following activities:

• cultural and academic enrichment of students, faculty or staff
• support of recruitment, retention or diversity outreach initiatives
• enhancement of students' cultural literacy

Awards will range from $100 to $4,000. The committee will consider proposals until all the money for the fiscal year has been allocated.

The application deadlines for activities scheduled later in the year are:

• March and April activities: Monday, Jan. 10, 2005
• May and June activities: Monday, Feb. 14, 2005
