A quick look at the initial summer 2005 enrollment numbers shows that enrollment at Metro State appears to be slightly higher than last summer. As of yesterday, May 31, the number of state-funded, full-year FTES (full-time equivalent students) was 1,425, which is 1.4 percent higher than at the same time—the first day of classes—last year.

Total headcount, which includes both state-funded and cash-funded students, was 8,063 as of Tuesday. This is 1.7 percent greater than the same time last year.

Final enrollment numbers will be available on census date, Friday, June 9.
