U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar will deliver the commencement address to the nearly 1,500 students who will receive their diplomas Sunday at Metro State's Spring Commencement. The ceremony begins at 2 p.m. in the Colorado Convention Center, 14th and California streets. Among the 1,451 graduating seniors, one is 65 years old, two are 64 and two are 20. The top five majors are behavioral science, criminal justice and criminology, biology, management and history. Twenty-one percent of the graduates are ethnic minorities, including 182 Hispanics, 59 African-Americans, 54 Asians and 11 Native Americans. In addition, this spring's graduating class includes 29 international students. About 10,000 family members and friends of the graduates are expected to attend the ceremony. For the stories
