Auraria sets campus holiday schedule
April 27, 2005

The Auraria Executives Council has approved the following holiday schedule for the 2006-07 fiscal year:

Tuesday, July 4, 2006 (Independence Day)
Monday, September 4, 2006 (Labor Day)
Thursday, November 23, 2006 (Thanksgiving Day)
Monday, December 25, 2006 (Christmas Day)
Tuesday, December 26, 2006 (alternate Columbus Day)
Wednesday, December 27, 2006 (alternate Veterans' Day)
Thursday, December 28, 2006 (alternate Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
Friday, December 29, 2006 (alternate President's Day)
Monday, January 1, 2007 (New Year's Day)
Monday, May 28, 2007 (Memorial Day)

To better serve their staffing needs, some divisions have been granted the discretion of assigning the holidays to different days throughout the year. For departments that observe a different holiday schedule, employees should contact their supervisor regarding the use of leave. Questions regarding holidays or holiday leave should be directed to your department supervisor.
