their son Ben graduate with honors and hearing interim dean Ken Keller
tell the crowd that "his academic and athletic achievements read
like a parent's dream."

Correction
The May 11 article, "Noteworthy Grads: An international scholar,
a legally blind artist and a mother/daughter team," was incorrect
is listing the majors for three of the graduates. Mother and daughter
Cathy and Lauren Petersen majored in behavioral science, not teacher
licensure as reported. By state law there is no undergraduate degree
in teacher education except special education. Also, Ron Roe's major
is individualized studies: furniture sculpture and design. @Metro regrets
these errors.
