On Dec. 30, Metro
State will update the campus-wide portal system, MetroConnect. As part
of the upgrade, the college will get a new e-mail system that promises
faster performance and more features.

sought for MLK Awards
Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 3 for the 2005 Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. Peace Awards. The awards will be given out at the MLK Peace
Breakfast on Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 from 8:30 to10:30 a.m. in the Tivoli
Turnhalle.

is encouraged to participate in the Auraria blood drive sponsored by

The Board of Trustees
is holding its regularly scheduled monthly meeting today in the Administration
Building, room 570. Along with discussion of the Revised Fiscal Year
2005 Operating Budget, the agenda includes reports on Athletics' five-year
plan, the Colorado Opportunity Fund and AHEC's Controlled Maintenance
and Student Facility Fee. The meeting starts at 8 a.m.
