Space limited for OneNote demo
November 17, 2004

Joy Autrand, Microsoft’s Productivity Specialist for the Western Region, will present a demonstration for faculty of Microsoft OneNote on Nov. 30, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., in TIV 329.

OneNote is a high-efficiency note-taking software that has the following capabilities:

  • organization of information that is hierarchical and customizable
  • PowerPoint presentations can be inserted
  • easily works with Microsoft Outlook’s calendar
  • allows you to share your notes
  • works like a legal pad, writes as well as draws diagrams and pictures within the application
  • it’s a storehouse of notes, facts, answers, and miscellaneous information, even voice and video data

In the first hour, a representative from DELL Computer will also be available to answer your questions about their technology.

This special event is limited to the first 20 participants, and they will receive trial copies of OneNote and a Lexar 32MB Jump Drive that they can use to download OneNote’s essential tips and take it with them.

Please RSVP to Charles Emmons, manager of campus computers for the Auraria Bookstore, at emmonsc@ahec.edu.
