Metro State, UCD and the Auraria Library have joined together in a cooperative purchasing initiative to offer faculty and students access to the database, SciFinder Scholar, the world's largest and most up-to-date collection of chemical information.

SciFinder Scholar includes citations of chemistry journal articles, technical reports, patents and proceedings, with the added bonus of Medline citations. The database is the online equivalent of Chemical Abstracts, with coverage back to 1907.
