Tivoli wins preservation award
October 6, 2004
The Tivoli Student Union has been chosen to receive Historic Denver's 2004 Community Preservation Award. The award acknowledges business, individuals or institutions that have gone out of their way to carry forward the preservation of Denver's character in future development.

The Tivoli was chosen for its renovation project, which was made possible through the efforts of the Student Advisory Committee to the Auraria Board (SACAB) and the Auraria Campus students' commitment to preserving their Student Union.

The award will be presented on Oct. 27, 2004, at the Brown Palace Hotel. John Ferrugia, 7NEWS investigative reporter, will serve as master of ceremonies for the evening.

Historic Denver is a private, nonprofit group whose mission is to preserve Denver's significant historic fabric, its distinctive architecture and its cultural landscape.
