This September, Healthy Moves and the Institute for Women's Studies and Services will offer Self Defense: Protecting Ourselves Level 1.

This supportive and noncompetitive course is appropriate for women age 13 or older, regardless of strength or physical ability. It is an excellent opportunity for women to develop protection skills. It is taught through the Rape Assistance and Awareness Program (RAAP), which has been working to end sexual violence in the Denver metro area for 15 years.

Participants are asked to attend all three classes in either session:
Session 1: Wednesdays, Sept.14 (TIV 320B), 21 and 28 (St. Cajetan's), 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Session 2: Thursdays, Nov. 3 (TIV 320B), 10 (TIV 444) and 17 (St. Cajetan's), 5:30-7:30 p.m.
