Fall Fest today and tomorrow
Fun, food and entertainment are all part of the annual Fall Fest today and tomorrow, Sept. 14-15, 10 a..m.-3 p.m., at the flag pole. Fall Fest showcases local musicians and performers, food vendors and arts and crafts. You can learn about campus departments and student organizations while having a great time. HEAR Conference: 'Differing Perspectives,' features Jordan
The Higher Education Association of the Rockies (HEAR) invites faculty and staff to its 28th annual conference, "Higher Education: Differing Perspectives of Our Role," which will feature Metro State President Stephen Jordan as the keynote speaker. Looking at the role of our institutions in society, discussions will focus on higher ed's role in four areas: academic, civic, economic and cultural. The conference will be held at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden on Friday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register online at www.coloradohear.org.
