Throughout the month, the Auraria Library will be hosting The September Project, part of an international effort to encourage public discussion and events on or around September 11 about the meaning of freedom and democracy and the role of information in promoting active citizenship. A display in the lobby of the Auraria Library provides an opportunity for people to share their views on democracy, citizenship and patriotism. A corresponding Web site, http://septemberproject.blogspot.com/, provides a blog for sharing views on these issues.
