Provost search committee holds first meeting
The Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs Search Advisory Committee
has held its first meeting to receive its charges from President Stephen
Jordan and EEO Executive Director Percy Morehouse, to review the timeline
and to finalize and sign the committee members' ethics statement.

countdown begins
As of yesterdaynine days before the start of the fall semesterstate-funded,
full-year FTES were 2.4 percent higher and total headcount was 2.0 percent
higher than at the same time point last year.
FTES stood at 6,602
and total headcount, which includes state-funded and cash-funded students,
was 18,854.

Gov. Bill Owens
announced last week the appointment of Edward Robinson to the Colorado
Commission on Higher Education (CCHE). Robinson currently serves on
the Metro State Foundation Advisory Board.

Highly Effective People” will present a free lecture on “Strengthening
