Thirty-four faculty join Metro State
The palpable electricity at New Faculty Orientation on the morning of
Aug. 16 was that of the first day of school, which was exactly the case
for the 34 new tenure-track and tenured members of Metro State’s
faculty. The daylong event, which featured presentations on everything
from the college’s judicial process to online services, offered
new professors a chance to become better acquainted with Metro State’s
structure and governance.

announces 2006-07 annual compensation survey results
The Department of Personnel and Administration (DPA) has released its
2006-07 Total Compensation Survey for classified staff. However, the
department also quickly pointed out that the numbers are provided for
informational purposes only and have not been included in any recommendation
for the upcoming fiscal year.
