You can hear a lively, informative and, most likely, very contentious debate on Referenda C and D on campus tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Tivoli Turnhalle from 1-3 p.m.

3. Hurricane relief efforts continue


A group of Metro State students have stepped up to help Katrina's victims. Marketing majors—all 650 of them—have donated $1 each to the American Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund.

6. Fortieth Facts and Features

On the subject of how Metro State's birthday came to be specifically Oct. 4, 1965, former faculty member and 1965 class catalog author Harold Benn noted "it was the last possible day we could begin if we didn't want to be holding classes on Christmas Eve."
