Library extends hours, hosts annual art exhibit
August 24, 2005


Changes are afoot at the Auraria library, including extended hours and a new exhibit.

New library hours
During the fall and spring semesters, the new library hours are as follows:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The library is also accessible continuously on the Web at http://library.auraria.edu.

Annual Exhibit on display at library
"Auraria Library Creates," the annual exhibit of artistic expression by library employees, is being presented in the library gallery until Wednesday, Aug. 31. Sponsored by the Diversity Committee, the exhibit features a wide array of visual art forms. An artist appreciation reception will be held on Monday, Aug. 29, 3-5 p.m. in the gallery.

This year's participants are Rosemary Evetts, Doug Flint, Geraldine Gold, Jen Heil, Cindy Martinez, Frank Tapp, Pat Tawnelle, Farhad Vakilitabar and Shelley Wendt.
