Three new features related to the Metro State mobile website have been added—a building directory, a link to the mobile version of the course catalog, and a link to the mobile site from the College’s main website.
The link to the mobile site (m.mscd.edu) from the homepage and other pages is next to the MetroConnect link on the toolbar at the top of the page.
That feature was a direct result of feedback from users, says Director of Web Communications Chris Mancuso. The building directory and mobile course catalog were included in the original plan for the mobile version of the site, which was launched in mid February.
"Feedback is always welcome," Mancuso says. There is a link to the feedback form on the mobile site, or it can be accessed here.
The building directory under the maps tab on the mobile site uses Google Maps to locate buildings and other campus landmarks like the Tivoli Commons and the Lawrence Street Mall.
“Rather than just include the buildings, this is everything,” Mancuso says.
Students can also use the mobile site to acccess the mobile course catalog. It is fully searchable and includes information on academic programs, course descriptions, electives and more.
