The Auraria Bookstore will offer Metro State alumni a 20 percent discount on one item from April 4-11, in support of College Friday in Colorado.

Sponsored by College in Colorado, the state-initiated campaign to improve college access in the state, the third annual College Friday is designed to raise awareness about the importance of higher education for Colorado’s youth. College in Colorado is asking people throughout the state, including those at Metro State, to wear college logo gear on Friday, April 11.

“We really want people out in the community, especially those working with youth, to show their Metro State pride on College Friday,” said Stefanie Carroll, assistant director of alumni programs and communication.

The discount will apply to the one most expensive item in any order, online or in the store. Alumni are asked to reference code Metro Alum V182SPRO8 when making their purchase.
