School of Business moving to Administration Building

Jun 13, 2011

As part of the Metro State Backfill Project, the School of Business will relocate to the fifth floor of the Administration Building, effective as early as June 17.

The Backfill Project was developed to make the best use of spaces that will be vacated by offices moving into the Student Success Building, currently under construction. It addresses critical space deficiencies for the College’s schools and programs.

When the four-story 145,000 square-feet building opens in 2012, it will help increase the College's dedicated classroom and administration space by 25 percent.

Below is a list of specific locations for each SCOB department after the move to the Administration Building:

  • Accounting, Suite 500
  • Computer Information Systems, Suite 590
  • Economics, Suite 530M
  • Finance, Suite 500N
  • Management, Suite 525J (moving later, on July 23)
  • Marketing, Suite 560
  • Dean’s Office, Suite 530
  • Advising, Suite 540

Responses to email messages and voice mails will be a bit delayed from June 15-20 as the School of Business faculty and staff will be focused on the move and getting settled. Patience is appreciated.

Other Moves(over the weekend)

  • Center for Innovation, CN 305, 305 E, F and G (in office June 20)
  • Faculty Senate, CN 305G, H and J,  (in office June 20)
  • School of Letters, Arts and Sciences Dean, West 257, (in office June 20)
