In advance of the formal groundbreaking on the Student Success Building on Dec. 3, early construction activity will begin on Monday, Nov. 22.

The new building will be located in the current Tivoli Parking Lot, at the corner of 9th Street and Auraria Parkway.

On Saturday, Nov. 20, the Tivoli Parking Lot will close to accommodate a reduction in size and the relocation of the lot’s entrance. Beginning Monday, Nov. 29, the Tivoli Lot will no longer be accessible from 9th Street. The new Tivoli Lot entrance will be located on 8th Street, which is accessed from 7th Street and Walnut Street.

Parking customers will be required to use the new pay machines, as the lot will function as a daily fee lot ($6.00/day).Customers must display their parking receipt on the dashboard of their vehicle to avoid being ticketed.

Saunders Construction is the contractor for the Student Success Building, the first building in Metro State’s neighborhood. Substantial construction activities will begin on Dec. 20, the first week of winter break. The Student Success Building is scheduled to be complete in April 2012.
