2nd Annual Latino Leadership Summit

Awakening the Spirit of Cesar Chavez. The focus of this year's conference will be on community involvement.



Friday, March 31st

$5 Registration Fee before March 15th

The tentative schedule is:
9:00 am--Check in & Welcome
10:00 am--Workshop Session I
11:15 am--Workshop Session II
12:30 pm--Lunch & Keynote Address
1:30 pm--Leadership Activity

Highlights for this year's conference include:
Keynote address from Dr. Maria Guajardo Lucero, executive director of the Mayor¹s Office for Education and Children in Denver. Focusing on the first two decades of life, the charge of her office is to champion educational advancement for children and youth in Denver. Dr. Guajardo Lucero graduated with honors from Harvard University and earned her Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Denver. María is an author, a mother, a community volunteer, and a national speaker.

We also have great educational sessions on contemporary leadership topics such as youth activism , spirituality and leadership, fundraising, and community involvement.

The $5 fee includes all conference materials and lunch.
