The Espiritu de Aztlan Award is given annually to a graduating
senior who has exhibited not only a commitment to education
by earning a degree from Metro, but also a commitment to community
service. To be eligible, applicants must be a Latino graduating
senior with a minimum GPA of 2.5. The award will be presented
at the 9th Annual Latino Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May
4, 2007. The application deadline is Friday April 13, 2006,

FACULTY
& STAFF AWARD
The Espiritu De Aztlan Award is given annually to a faculty
or a staff member who has exhibited commitment and dedication
to the recruitment, retention, and mentorship of students,
and overall enrichment of the Latino Community and at the
Metropolitan State College of Denver. The nominee selected
for this prestigious award will be recognized at the 9th Annual
Latino Graduation Reception on Friday, May 5th, 2006 celebrated
in the Tivoli Turnhalle. Campus community members including
MSCD administrators, faculty, or staff, are eligible for nomination
of this award. The application deadline is Friday April 14,
