The University of Guadalajara
Centro de Estudios Para Extranjeros (CEPE)
CEPE is the foreign student center of the University of Guadalajara.
It is housed in its own building separate from any other of the many
campuses of the University. Just like in the United States, foreign
students are not allowed to be part of the regular university study
programs unless an appropriate level of proficiency is demonstrated
through testing. Because this is not generally the case with foreign
students studying Spanish, participants are kept separate from the
regular university student population.
CEPE Calendar
The calendar is based on two-week intensive study sessions.

Travel and Hotel Accommodations
The program will cover only group travel via the scheduled airline
from Denver, Colorado to Mexico and back. The travel will include
accommodations, normally of two per room. At times there may be three
per room depending on the group configuration. A desire for a single
room can usually be accommodated, but at an added cost.
Immigration Status
Immigration requirements are being enforced in Mexico. So, it is important
that upon entry to Mexico, all students ask the immigration officer
processing their permits to stay in Mexico, to please allow for a
minimum 90-day period. Otherwise, the officer may assign a shorter
stay than needed. This will require the renewal of the permits in
Guadalajara at an extra cost.
