Classes Taught: Percussion, Percussion Ensemble. Percussion Techniques

Mark Foster is a Denver, Colorado native currently on the faculty at the Metropolitan State College of Denver.  His primary teachers include William L. Roberts (principal percussionist with the Denver Symphony, retired) and George Gaber (Indiana University).  Foster received a master of music degree from Indiana University and was awarded a performance certificate while attending IU.  He currently resides in Denver where he is a freelance musician.  He has played in more than 40 touring Broadway shows, as well as, the Colorado Ballet Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, and Colorado Music Festival Orchestra among others.
