Saxophonist, Mark Harris, brings extraordinary versatility and superior musicianship to Metropolitan State College of Denver.  As a woodwind specialist, Mark is a “first call” reed player in Colorado having performed with such jazz greats as Billy Eckstein, George Shearing, Buddy Greco, Joe Williams, The Four Freshmen, and Natalie Cole.  His recent discography includes over a dozen releases with such artists as Ron Miles, momen terra, Hamster Theatre, Thinking Plague,   Mark is a Professor of Saxophone Study at Metro State and the University of Denver.   Mark cooks often, post ethnically; is blessed with inspired students, rides a Sampson bicycle, and sews with a Singer sewing machine.  He has one cat, Burt, who eats squirrels and hates the saxophone.
