Darker side of life

We have all seen them at one time or another: a group of teens at the local mall wearing vampire makeup, sporting Victorian-era clothing styles.  They are definitely “out of sync” with the majority of the shoppers, both in terms of fashion and in terms of attitude. Passersby evince a mixture of fear, revolt, humor, and curiosity.
