COOL needs volunteers
Campus Outreach and Opportunities for Learning needs volunteers for
a Halloween party (hosted by The Curtis Park Community Center) on from
3 to 7 p.m. Friday Oct. 31.
COOL needs help setting up, running contests and bringing terror to
the Spooky Room. Sign up by Friday, Oct. 24 in the Student Activities
Office or call (303) 556-2595.
Business Career Fair coming
The 5th Annual Business Career Fair will be invading Auraria Campus
on from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28. Students will be able to submit resumes,
meet employers and attain internships.

Team-building workshops
Specific emphasis will be placed on problem solving skills and critical
thinking in Facilitating Team Building, Part 2 on from noon to 1 p.m.

Speeding ticket?
Attorneys available Oct. 29
Learn how to avoid speeding tickets and when to take it to court. Workshops
run by qualified attorneys will be offered from 2 to 5 p.m. in Tivoli
Room 329.

Beyond Chicanismo continues
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct 30 in Tivoli Room 640, Jean LeMarr, founder
and artistic director of the Native American Graphic Workshop, will
be discussing the aspects of Native American history and culture that
have influenced her art.
Halloween at the Tivoli
The Office of Student Activities is holding a Halloween open house from
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 30 and 31 in Tivoli Room 305. Students are encouraged
to dress up and join the festivities. Refreshments will be provided.
Thorn Grass screens Oct. 30
Local filmmaker D. Robin Hammer will be holding a short-film presentation
at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 30 in Tivoli Room 442 on the life and death of a Colorado
teen. F.C. Martinez (a transgendered Navajo) was murdered in a hate
crime in Cortez, Colorado two years ago.
Results of RTD Student Bus Pass fee vote
Oct. 21-22 students voted on whether to keep or do away with the $24
RTD Bus Pass fee, a part of student fees. The Metropolitan will report
