Nov. 16 new date for SGA inauguration
Metro's Student Government Assembly Election Commission has announced that the inauguration ceremony for the SGA's incoming members will be held at around 3 p.m. on Nov. 16.
Following the ceremony, new members will be able to meet at 4 p.m. for the new officers' first official meeting as SGA members.
As of press time, no one had contested the results of the election released last week, which installed 11 new senators and showed Aaron "Jack" Wylie as the new SGA president. Interim SGA President Dennis Bergquist will assume his elected position of vice president.

Burt Rutan, winner of last year's Ansari X Prize for the first private manned spacecraft to exceed an altitude of 328,000 feet twice within the span of 14 days, comes to Metro Nov. 12 for the Burt Rutan Design Competition.
The event, slated to start at 11 a.m., includes the design competition, followed by a one-hour presentation by Rutan, which will be open to the public. The competition will pit up to 83 teams of middle school and high school students-between 400 and 600 youngsters in all-in a race to solve a design problem that will test their teamwork, creativity and project-management skills.
