Q I plan on starting a job in criminal justice. Any words of wisdom to help me successfully navigate this work environment ?

A We like the words of wisdom from author Harvey Mackay. In "How to Swim With The Sharks," he says to learn who the gatekeepers are. Often, people with tiny titles have colossal clout. Get to know who mans the portals, before you get your pinkies smashed. The moral is to not let the door hit you on the way in.
