Plans for more campus housing stay on schedule

Campus Village at Auraria and the Inn at Auraria, two new student-housing facilities, are on schedule for their move-in dates set for early August 2006.

Students planning to live in the new Campus Village apartments at 4th and Walnut streets may be able to move in as early as July, though the move-in date is still set for Aug.11, Community Manager Dan Hawley said Monday.

Campus Village offers apartment-style rather than dorm-style living by featuring furnished units with full kitchens, said Campus Village's leasing and marketing manager, Laura Fenton.

Campus Village, which has already booked 36 reservations for Fall '06, will be hosting an open house Monday, January 30 at their leasing office in Tivoli Room 124, Hawley said.

Students can also stop by the office anytime during the week to check out floor plans and furniture samples.

Also scheduled for move-in in early August is the Inn at Auraria, located at 14th and Curtis streets. The Inn at Auraria will occupy floors 17-30 of the old Executive Towers and floors 1-16 of the five-star hotel next door, leasing agent Emily Hinkle said Monday.

The Inn at Auraria will offer a more urban lifestyle, because it is in the heart of downtown Denver, Hinkle said.

The Inn at Auraria will be giving tours by appointment of a finished unit on the 30th floor beginning next week and are currently offering a look-and-lease policy which waves their application fee and deposit.

Their leasing office is located in Tivoli Room 127.

Both facilities are all-inclusive and offer amenities like social areas, included utilities, cable and Internet, coffee bars and of course all the activities that Lo-Do has to offer. Prices range from $649-$789 at The Inn and $575-865 at Campus Village for individual leases.
