Mammoth tickets

   Metro sports marketing students have teamed with the Colorado Mammoth of National League Lacrosse to sell tickets for the Mammoth’s 2006 regular season finale.
   Ticket prices for the 7 p.m. game on April 14 range in price form $14 to $21. For more information, contact Metro’s marketing department at mscd-sportmkt@mscd.edu.

   Metro’s athletic department is venturing into the world of the fun run.
   Metro is hosting its innaugural “Go Metro State Downtown 5K” race at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 9 on the Auraria Campus.
   The race starts at the Auraria Event Center, then weaves across campus and the Pepsi Center grounds before concluding outside the Tivoli Student Union.
   Registration is still open at the Metro Student Activities Office and online at www.active.com.
   The 5K is an official qualifier for the 2006 Bolder Boulder.

Climbing the hill

   Metro’s new cycling club is back in town this weekend, racing at Colorado School of Mines’ Oredigger Classic.
   The Roadrunner cyclists race up Lookout Mountain April 8, and then take on the Criterion Circuit at CoorsTek April 9.
