Math Assessment: Problems: Solutions

The Tutoring Center is always looking for strong candidates for tutoring positions in Math (most classes, Statistics), Accounting, CIS, CS, Finance, Spanish, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. All subjects welcome to apply.

Our new drop-in schedules will be up around the week of 8/18/08.
We offer free walk-in study sessions for any Metro student who is preparing to take the Accuplacer for the Math Assessment or the Accuplacer for the English/Reading Assessment

Our Mission:
The mission of the Metropolitan State College of Denver Tutoring Center is to improve student retention and achievement rates by fostering an environment that assists and encourages students to become independent learners. The Tutoring Center will fulfill its mission by providing a diverse range of individual and group peer tutoring services along with weekly supplemental study skills workshops. The Tutoring Center will promote an environment that is welcoming to the diverse student body of Metro by providing professionally trained tutors who are competent in subject material and areas such as diversity, learning styles, and communication.
