Metropolitan State College of Denver is commemorating
its 45th anniversary and renewing its commitment to future generations of Roadrunners during the 2010-11 academic year.
Metro State has been providing unique academic experiences to students from its founding in 1965 with an enrollment of 1,189 to our record enrollment today of more than 24,000 undergraduate and master’s students. Along the way, the College has produced more than 68,000 alumni, with nearly 80 percent remaining in Colorado after graduation.
