Rules & Guidelines
Rules: The Share It! Story, Facebook ‘45’ Photo, and Video competition is open to all alumni, students, faculty and staff of Metropolitan State College of Denver. Competition run March - June, 2010. Entries submitted on or before June 30, 2010 are elgible for prize drawings.
Competition guidelines:
- Submit your favorite Metro State story (written submission)
- Submit your ‘45’ photo to the official Metro State Facebook page.
- Submit your ‘How you see Metro State’ video to the official Metro State Facebook fan page.
- One entry per person per category will be accepted.
- Please be considerate of others. Enter only factual information. While we hope to continue to generate an interesting community-based history of Metro State in celebration of our 45th Anniversary, submission of content to this project is in no way a guarantee of publication.
- Only completed entries that include an e-mail address will be eligible for the drawings.
- Winners will be selected on the first work day after the last day of each month, April 2010 through July 2010.
- Winners will be contacted e-mail (Facebook or Metro State e-mail addresses). Winning entrants' names will be announced on the Metro State Facebook fan page. Winners have 14 days from the date of notification to collect a prize before the prize is forfeited.
- By submitting your Metro State story, photo or video, you agree that your entry is subject to editing and may be used for publication in Metro State print and electronic media, social media sites and the 45th Anniversary Web site. You also agree to share your submission with fellow alumni, students, faculty and staff. (E-mail addresses and phone numbers will not be made public).
- Metropolitan State College of Denver Privacy Statement.
Judging/Prizes: The Communications Subcommittee of the 45th Anniversary Committee will select winners monthly for each category.
A winner will be selected in the months of March, April, May, June. Monthly winners will receive great Metro State gear, and will be announced on the Metro State Facebook Fan page.
Monthly winners are automatically entered into the July Grand Prize drawing for an Apple iPad.
Runner up and Grand Prize winners will be announced
on the Metro State Facebook Fan page July 30, 2010.
