Description:	Each year, MSU Denver nominates 3 faculty members (from among full-time and affiliate faculty) for the U.S. Professor the Year competition, sponsored by CASE and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. If you are interested in being an MSU Denver nominee, it’s not too early to begin thinking about the criteria and the selection process. Participants in this workshop will use video testimonials and sample nomination materials from past winners to make sense of the judging criteria and to consider how to position themselves to be competitive nominees. The internal process for selecting MSU Denver’s nominees will also be explained. Please note that the internal MSU Denver call for applications will be announced in early October, and the appliatoin deadline for internal MSU Denver consideration is February 1, 2013.
