Making healthy meals with inexpensive pantry items can be quite the challenge. This workshop, sponsored by the MSU Denver Food Bank, will present information on how to get the most nutritious ‘bang for your food-bank buck’ as well as a cooking demonstration conducted by Cooking Matters, with an emphasis on the types of items that you are likely to find in a food pantry. Participants will eat a meal together that they have learned how to cook and will also leave with the ingredients to make another meal on their own.
