Reservations to use the Computer labs are created at the beginning of each semester and distributed in department mailboxes to each instructor teaching a class that uses the lab. The instructor must see a lab assistant to get an account for the lab system established. It is not the same as the account to get on the academic network.
MSU Denver students have a default login that is the same user name from ConnectU and a password that is the last 4 digits of the student ID number (900...) plus the two digit month and two digit day of birth (so the password is 8 digits).
If a student forgets the password or otherwise is unable to log on, then the student should contact the help desk at 1-877-35AskIT (1-877-352-7548) or visit www.msudenver.edu/gethelp/. Sometimes lab personnel can also get this information. UCD students will not have accounts, so they must see one of the people at the front desk in the lab to request an account.
