The Metro State Open House offers an opportunity to explore our vibrant urban campus, meet our faculty and staff, and see how our programs, services and people will help you reach your educational goals.

Whether you will be a first-time college student, a transfer student from another college or someone just looking to take an enriching class or two, you will get your questions answered in this friendly, convenient environment.

The Metro State Open House is FREE and open to anyone interested in enrolling.

• Speak with professors about Metro State’s 52 majors and 79 minors.
• Learn about admission, financial aid, scholarship opportunities and a wide range of student services, clubs and activities.
• Bring any previous college transcripts and have your credits evaluated.
• Apply for admission.
• Enjoy a campus tour.
• Enter to win one of two $500 CollegeInvest scholarships, just for attending. Must meet eligibility requirements to win.

Visit for four minutes or four hours. No reservations are needed and families are welcome. The Open House takes place in the Auraria Events Center (see campus map) and PARKING will be FREE in our garage on 7th Street and Walnut Street.
