Wiche Wue
New deadline for Spring 2008 Wue applications: Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
Please submit all application materials to Michelle Brown in the Office of Admissions, Central Classroom Building Room 108.
What is WUE?
WUE is the Western Undergraduate Exchange, a program of the Western
Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Through WUE, students
in western states (AK, AZ, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, ND, OR, SD, UT,
WA, WY) may enroll in many two-year and four-year college programs
at a reduced tuition level: 150 percent of the institution’s
regular resident tuition. WUE tuition is considerably less than non-resident
tuition.
WUE Tuition at Metro State:
At Metro State, WUE students pay 150 percent of the student’s
share of Colorado resident tuition plus mandatory fees. In addition,
WUE students, being non-residents, are not eligible for the state
contribution to tuition, otherwise known as the College Opportunity
Fund (COF) stipend. Thus, WUE participants must pay the stipend
amount in addition to WUE tuition and fees. Please see the chart
below for more information (all information is per semester):
