Did you know that Accuplacer Basic Skills assessments are part of a mandatory system of course placement used in all colleges and universities in Colorado? Testing is based on the student's academic history and other scores (such as ACT and SAT) and/or AP, International Baccalaureate, and CLEP test scores.
Students who do not have qualifying test scores or college level credit in Math and English must complete the appropriate tests prior to advising and registration. Beginning in fall, 2011, all students will be required to complete all general education Math, English and Reading courses in their first 30 credit hours.
