Choosing/Changing a Major/Career
Need to declare a major but you are not sure where to start? One of the best ways to get started with selecting a major and career is to meet with an Academic Advisor either in the Academic Advising Center to provide you information about the many degree options available at MSU Denver, or meet with a faculty advisor in an academic department to see if their major is right for you. Another great resource is to visit our Career Services Office to speak with a career counselor or review their website to find out what services they offer to assist you in selecting a career.
In addition, you can utilize other online resources to assist with your degree search, such as the university catalog to view the list of approved MSU Denver majors and minors and program descriptions, (be sure you are looking at the correct catalog year for you) download and review degree plans/advising worksheets to look at major requirements, and reviewing career opportunities within different majors.
