Advising and Registration

Summer/Fall 2013
The Summer and Fall 2013 Class Schedules became available March 15, and Priority Registration began April 1.   You can check your registration date and time beginning March 15 via ConnectU. View the steps in finding your registration date and time.

Spring 2014
The spring 2014 Class Schedules will be available online by mid-October 2013, and Priority Registration begins in early November.   You can check your registration date and time beginning in md-October via ConnectU.

Preparing for your appointment

Print a  Registration Worksheet (Acrobat Icon 54 KB)  to get started

Review your Curriculum, Advising, and Program Planning (CAPP) compliance report

Bring in transcripts or scores that are not showing up in the system

  • If you have university credits that have not yet been evaluated or test scores that are not part of your record, bring copies with you
  • To have the credits transfer evaluated officially, visit Transfer Services
  • If you have not done so already, have your Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate results sent

Find information for major(s) you are interested in

Review General Studies requirements, if yours are not complete

  • Catalog information on General Requirements (be sure that you are looking at the correct catalog year for your degree)
  • Also check Degree Plans for specific classes to complete General Studies requirements (be sure that you are looking at the correct catalog year for your degree)

Review Schedule of Classes

Declare Your Major

  • Fill out and print Declaration of Major and Minor Form (Acrobat Icon 149 KB)
  • Take the form to Major and Minor department(s) for signatures
  • Return the form to Academic Advising Center, Student Success Building (SSB) 170 for processing
  • You may also pick up this form in SSB 170
