*To obtain a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) in Special Education, individuals are required to pass the Elementary Education exam #10014, or the computer based Elementary exam #5014.
The Special Education exam (20) is taken during year two of ALP SED or ALP SED MAT.
Your PLACE scores will automatically be sent to the Colorado Department of Education (CDE). If you are applying for ALP SED MAT, you will need to have your PLACE Elementary Ed scores sent to MSU Denver.
Results of PLACE assessments are recognized only in Colorado.
